A building is only as square as the slab it sits on. A garage or shop slab that is out of level or out of square shows up later as a door that will not seal and walls that need shimming. So we set the forms to exact grade and check them corner to corner before any concrete arrives, and we compact the base under the whole footprint, not just around the edges.
Storage shed pads are one of our regular small jobs, and so are slabs for pole barns. On a pole barn the floor often goes in after the posts and the roof are up, which keeps the rain off the pour. Garage and shop floors get reinforcement and control joints laid out around how you will use the space, and a smooth or broom finish, whichever suits the floor.
Tell us the size when you ask for a quote, like 12x16 for a shed or 30x40 for a pole barn, plus what is going on the slab: a vehicle, a lift, a workbench or just storage. A slab for a truck is built differently from one for a lawn mower, and knowing that up front gets you a straight answer the first time.
“Great experience. Very happy with my slab. Punctual, good communication, great end result”
It can go either way. Pouring after the posts and roof are up keeps rain off the fresh concrete and lets the floor tie in around the posts. Talk to us and your builder and we will fit the schedule.
Length by width is enough to start, like 12x16 or 24x30. Tell us what will sit on it, a car, a truck, a lift or storage, and whether the ground is flat or slopes.
Yes. Storage shed pads are on our card and they are regular jobs for us. A small pad gets the same compacted base and the same care as a garage floor.
All concrete can develop hairline cracks over time, but a properly compacted base, steel reinforcement, and correctly placed control joints keep them to a minimum. We take the groundwork seriously so your concrete holds up for the long haul.
Yes. We coat the outside of the walls and lay drain tile around the footings before backfill, so water gets carried away instead of sitting against your basement.

Yes. Stamped concrete is on our card next to patios, sidewalks and driveways. Tell us where it is going and about how big, and we will talk through the pattern and what fits the space.
Yes. Cabin foundations and storage shed pads are regular jobs for us, along with garage and pole barn slabs. Send the size, like 12x16 or 24x30, and we will take a look.
Usually, if it ties into a public road. In Michigan the agency that owns the road issues the driveway permit: the county road commission for county roads, the city or village for its own streets, and MDOT for state highways. We will help you figure out which one is yours.
